For about thirty seconds we thought of going back to Paris to celebrate our anniversary. I’m so glad we decided to stay closer to home and return to Montreal – we last visited this lovely city in 2009 for just four days and have been wanting a second, longer look ever since.

The flight from LaGuardia lasted barely an hour, we fetched our bag, breezed through the automated passport control and found a taxi.

Yay! The bag made it…no real anxiety though because Apple Tag♥️

We entered our room at the Ritz Carlton to a wonderful surprise.

So much happiness

I’ve lived in apartments smaller than the closet

If you’ve been paying attention, you know that I’m happiest on the water. For our first evening in the city of Saints, Timmy booked a sunset dinner cruise on the Bateau Mouche. We sailed down the St. Lawrence and I was in heaven.

I paired my salmon with Rose’ and Timmy choose a Bordeaux with his steak

Our meal was truly delicious and the scenery, including the sunset was spectacular.

We called an Uber, our driver took us on a short drive through the old town and deposited back to the hotel. As inviting as the Palm Court’s bar looked, we demurred and returned to our anniversary nest. Thanks for following along. We are headed to breakfast, then off to explore.
