We left Sarasota yesterday, driving three hours across the state to Miami, checked into the Marriott Aloft on 36th street. Nice hotel, large room, great location, cool vibe. Enjoyed a super dinner at El Pollo Inka, had a nice sleep. This morning at shortly after 11:00 am we arrived at the Miami cruise terminal.

Check in was a breeze.
No caption needed.
First selfie of the cruise♥️
The time stamp on this photo is 12:11 pm.
Zayne came by to top off our Champagne glasses.
As we waited for our lunch, I ran up to see if our room was ready. Yay! It was…an almost identical Sapphire suite to the one we loved on Symphony … I grabbed our key cards, snapped two photos while the room looked perfick and returned just in time to enjoy my mahi-mahi.
.
No lunch pics…too busy chatting with Paolo, Elvis and Zayne.
After lunch we hit up the Bistro for cappuccino, cookies and German chocolate cake.
Before we headed to our room to unpack, we ventured up to the pool deck. IYKYK.
We walked through to Palm Court and I snapped this pic of the bow.
We unpacked, attended muster in the Hollywood theater and returned to our veranda.
Timmy’s holding a bottle of my favorite NZ Sauvignon Blanc. It’s been my favorite since we visited the winery in the Marlborough Valley back in 2018. He wanted a photo to send to our friend Gil, who also loves this wine.
Miami from our veranda.
Mirror photo before dinner…might be the start of a new tradition ♥️
Miami from the Palm Court.
Lemon Drop martinis.
Timmy and Franco.

Franco is the son of Kiko, a beloved Crystal employee who worked on Symphony and sadly passed away a few years ago. It was beyond wonderful to chat with Franco and tell him how much we loved his dad.

This is Adam aka DJ Flair…such a charming young man. He takes requests 😉
Tuna for me, cauliflower soup for Tim.
I loved my sole.
That side is pearl risotto …so on the first day we’ve already busted our calorie budget for the week 😊
Tim’s veal …very, very tender.
Elvis is in the house
Luca and Balint…lots of energy…talented dancers.
Karin and Robert
Crystal in Motion is a lovely show

It is super to be back on board. Seeing so many familiar faces among the crew and guests really is such a treat. Thanks for following along. ♥️
