On most Voyages, Crystal offers Wine Pairing dinners and lunches. We’ve enjoyed the dinners and opted to indulge in the Champagne Lunch on this sailing.

Head Sommelier Tilmar Pfefferkorn organized and presented our luncheon event. And oh my what a wonderful event it was.

We began with an Amuse-Bouche: Caviar Blini. This delightful bite was paired with: Champagne Doyard, Blanc de Blanc, Grand Cru, Extra Brut, Avize 2008t

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Appetizer of Tuna Sashimi with Strawberries was paired with: Domain Salmon, 100% Meunière, Brut Rose’, Chaumuzy NV

 

The Slow Cooked Citrus Marinated Chicken Breast with Strawberry Espuma paired with: Louis Roederer, Cristal, Brut, Reims 2008

Pineapple Sherbet with Mango Salsa paired with Pol Roger, Demi Sec, Epernay NV

Finally, these lovely truffles paired with another Doyard …the vintage escapes me.
