We awoke in the port of St. Thomas to this amazing sight.

Here’s a sea plane landing.

One more view of the harbor.

After breakfast we met with Immigration in the Galaxy Theatre. The entire process took no longer than 8 minutes, from the time we joined the line, till the process was complete. This is a wonderful service that Crystal offers its passengers…they bring the immigration folks on board prior to disembarking…so that we avoid the long lines in port. With 7 ships in port on Sunday,  we are very grateful for this accommodation.

We decided not to leave the ship, enjoying lunch al fresco overlooking the harbor.

I spent some quality time with my favorite treadmill, then read at the pool while Timmy napped. I snapped this pic from our balcony as we left the dock.

Leaving St. Thomas we passed Frenchman’s Cove  and Morning Star beach. We spent 6 wonderful days there at the Morning Star Resort in 2010, so it was a treat when I realized we were passing by. We stayed in “Cabanas” right on the beach…beyond wonderful.

We skipped pre-dinner drinks…heading instead straight for deck 12. In the evening, Marketplace is transformed into a Brazilian steak house: Churrascaria.

It’s sort of a hybrid dining experience. Salads and other yummy offerings – buffet style.

Each guest is given a coaster – one side is green, the other red. The wait staff will continue to bring many, many grilled options table side, until you say “uncle” and turn the coaster to the red side.

Among our choices:

Steak

Short ribs

Lamb Chops

Grilled Vegetables

Shrimp

Pineapple spiced with Cinnamon

There were multiple other dessert choices…I failed to photograph them and the super yummy Brazilian sausages ☹️. All in all a very nice dining experience…especially for carnivores.
