We slept in, had coffee and muffins in the room (too chilly out on the balcony) and enjoyed the ship until lunchtime. Crystal’s famous Asain lunchtime buffet in Marketplace was amazing as usual.
When we walked across the pool deck, the pool was sloshing like crazy…of course by the time I got my phone out… no big waves. Oh well.
Here’s Tim preparing for a nap…I said “Pretend you’re sleeping”. I headed to the gym 😊
When I returned canapés were waiting.
Our fridge wasn’t working so these two crew swapped out the old one …took all of about 12 minutes.
They wouldn’t let me empty the refrigerator.
So, our mirror selfies continue to be a work in progress. The first four I cut off Timmy’s head.
The next two or three…I didn’t like the way I looked…especially the way my anti-glare glasses were glaring.
I knew I was pushing Timmy’s patience when we moved to the half mirror…just look at his face. Whatever.
Six o’clock found us in the Palm court for the Captain’s reception and Crystal Society Party. I love seeing guests dressed so nicely. It was wonderful to see that beautiful space full of happy folks.
Timmy and our new friend Bill🩵
Captain Vincent offered a warm welcome.
This 102 year old woman (not a typo…102 years!) and her daughter were celebrating their 50th Crystal cruise🩵 #goals
We were in the Cove before dinner and Timmy snapped this pic of Rizaldi who popped by to say hello.
John Arias and Timmy discussing the most important topic of the day.
Formal night features a wonderful menu, including Tim’s oysters.
I could have sworn that I took a photo as Kasia was serving my Caviar condiments, here’s a pic of Bill receiving his.
We all three had the veal…so tender, so yummy. We were engaged in such great conversation with Bill, that we did not have time for dessert…because there’s no way we wanted to miss James Fox.
Uptown girl.
Why are sea days the best days? Because they are the most relaxing days. Thanks for following along.
