…Picking off where I left off…Na Hang Ngon…not only is this restaurant visually stunning, but the cuisine is outstanding.

Before we sat down to lunch, we were treated to a walk through of the multiple prep stations …I mean multiple!

After the back scenes tour we were seated.

We placed ourselves in Hai’s hands. He was delighted to know that we are adventurous eaters with no food allergies. I must say this lunch was an excellent adventure.

This rice pancake is hands down the best thing I ate in Vietnam.

So we were enjoying a cocktail and then the food began arriving and arriving and arriving.

Spring rolls first…

You place your own greens in your soup…

.

That’s the sugarcane wrapped grilled fish and the makings for vegetable rolls…we had so much fun rolling them.

.

More than a meal…a freaking gastronomic event ♥️

As we dined, the restaurant began to fill with local families.

Practicing my chopstick chops after I built my own soup.

More than two hours later…Tim’s having dessert…we enjoyed so many different foods and I regret not taking more photos of our actual meal…but we were just so dang invested in enjoying the unique flavors and great conversation with Hai, that…well you know.

One last photo on the way out.

We stopped at the post office to buy postcards for the Bugs

Huge building …lots more for sale than just postcards and stamps.

Last stop of the day…a series of roadside flower markets…you know I can’t visit enough flower markets.

Leaving Saigon we caught sunset on our way to the Beef Bar.

I had to try the vegetable bolognese …as delicious as it looks.

Just one scoop for me this time 🩵

Timmy and Milica…Milli to her fans ♥️

We had a most wonderful time in Saigon, especially enjoying our amazing lunch on the second day. As you can imagine, we were so tired that we skipped all evening entertainment.
As a side note, it’s been a serious challenge posting to the blog. There was a notice in Reflections regarding the spotty availability of Starlink in South East Asia. Whatever…Thanks for following along. 🩵
