Captain Willheim made the decision not to port in Sorrento due to poor sea conditions, so we headed for an overnight in Naples. As we sailed towards Naples from Catania we were treated to a rain and lightning show. Sadly I was unable to capture the lightning flashes on my phone.

We experienced intermittent rain and gusting winds.
Arriving to the port of Naples, it was still raining so we decided to stay on the ship and make it a sea day.

We enjoyed a super lunch in Waterside.

Ramazan brought Tim’s burger.

Spent some time in the Crystal Cove with Rodion between lunch and dinner.

…finally made it to Tastes for dinner…Tirso took wonderful care of us.
I was disappointed that The Ned Sauvignon Blanc was unavailable…this Pouilly Fume is a super substitute…in fact, it’s my new favorite ♥️
After dinner we sat in the front row of the Starlight Club for Carlos Rayan’s Unplugged show

Carlos is beyond talented, his guitar skills are unparalleled and he has a beautiful voice. Towards the end of his performance he brought out Anna Alonso. Wow. Just wow. She and Carlos complement each other perfectly.

So if you are thinking that we spent a rainy day on board Symphony eating and drinking, you would not be incorrect.
