I love sea days so much, that I greeted our first sea day on this second leg with keen anticipation. It did not disappoint.
With the entire day stretching before us, we slept in and after enjoying our coffee and pastries, we read our news feeds and worked on our puzzles.
We skipped second breakfast and I went to the gym …I walked for 9845 steps, and according to my Pacer app: 24.4 miles in 1 hour and 25 minutes. Average speed 17 miles per hour. If only.
One of the reasons we skipped second breakfast- we’d made a special request the day before: Tikka Massala Flatbread from the Tastes evening menu for lunch. We split the flatbread and Timmy added two vegetable pot stickers from the lunch menu. The Tastes dinner menu is lovely…somehow we failed to dine there once in 19 days…what the actual heck? Anyway, the flatbread was beyond delicious.
On Monday evening, we were sitting in the Palm Court watching folks dance… and I say to Timmy: “That woman dances so beautifully … reminds me of Pamela”
As we walk to the elevator, I approach her to tell her how much I enjoyed watching her … and oh my freaking goodness … it IS Pamela … We were work colleagues and became fast friends. Pam retired, moved and we lost touch…fast forward 12 years… and here we are on a Crystal ship. We went to the Cove and had a most wonderful chat. I was so excited, I failed to memorialize the reunion with a photo. We have plans to dine on our last evening in Nassau.
After booking a future cruise 😍 we spent the rest of the afternoon on the balcony, then before we knew it…time to prepare for the evening’s festivities.
We skipped the Crystal on Broadway show and enjoyed a night cap in the Cove.
Another wonderful day in the books. Thanks for following along.🩵
