Another glorious sunny day. We had coffee in our room, then I jumped on the treadmill for about 8000 steps.
Nice view from the treadmill. After lunch, we headed off to visit Helsinki…Crystal provided a shuttle…took about 20 minutes…but before we left the pier…we spotted this…
…the coolest thing we’ve seen all cruise ♥️ #santa …I asked for another Crystal cruise 😉
The shuttle dropped us near Market Square…we had hoped to take a Ferry to Suomenlinna Sea Fortress…but didn’t leave ourselves enough time to make it back for the last shuttle.
The harbor area near Market Square featured a nice mix of commercial boats, ferries and pleasure boats.
I rarely purchase anything nowadays, however this woman, Anna had some lovely handmade pieces …I bought a bracelet.
For about two minutes we thought about taking the 15 minute walk to visit the Helsinki Cathedral …decided against it and after a brief recon around the harbor and market…we returned to the ship…
Such a beautiful day…we wrote postcards and chilled out poolside.
We enjoyed sail-away from our balcony
I’m loving the blue, blue, blue of the Baltic Sea.
So many Ferries…and colorful too!
I thought about discontinuing the mirror selfies… but I’m not a quitter…here we are before we set out for Osteria…
