A Room with a View

Passport control was easy breezy, our bags were among the first on the carousel and Antonio, our driver, assisted in wrangling them to the car.

We had a pleasant 15 minute drive to the Intercontinental.

This hotel is lovely, the staff are wonderful and so welcoming. We checked in with Rodrigo in the Club Lounge, and after a 10-12 minute wait in the comfy lounge,  we were brought to our room by Daniel.

We have a spectacular view from the 18th floor, straight ahead – the river and castle, to the right- the 25th of April bridge…it’s a suspension bridge similar to the Golden Gate in San Francisco.

Timmy’s napping so I’m going to head out and explore for a bit.
