Our port visit to Lisbon saw quite a bit of activity, as most passengers, save for about 150 fortunate folks disembarked and about 600 came on board. We woke to beautiful blue skies and this view of our new favorite city.
After breakfast in our cabin, we left Serenity for a brief stroll.
Timmy purchased a flag pin and I took a few photos in Old Town
Back on board, Timmy napped and I read on our balcony enjoying the hustle and bustle of port side activity. My preference is a port side cabin, as we both love watching the loading and unloading of supplies, and in larger ports I’m especially fascinated with the movement of enormous cargo containers. I spent the late afternoon in the gym, enjoying sunset from my treadmill, returning just in time to join Timmy on the balcony for sail away down the Tagus River.
The moon was full as we sailed under the 25 of April bridge.
I snapped a million and one pics…here are a few.
Cocktails in the Cove and then we headed to Umi Uma for another gastronomically delightful meal.
We began with Yellowtail Sashimi w/ Jalapeño
Crispy Rice w/Tuna Tartar
Lobster Tacos
Monkfish Liver Pate
Lobster Tempura
Soft shell Crab Spring Roll
Mushroom Soup
Nobu Style Lobster w/ Truffle-Yuzu Sauce
Grilled Australian Waygu Beef
Whiskey Cappuccino
Cold Tapioca Soup w/ Green Tea Ice Cream
Such a wonderful dinning experience…among the many reasons we love Crystal ❤️
We skipped the evening show in the Galaxy Theatre, opting to enjoy the lovely music of Gonzalo and Daniela
