On our third day in Barcelona we set out on a mission to repair a gold chain that my mom gave me many years ago. Timmy had “pinned” a half dozen jewelry stores on google maps. We began with a stroll along La Rambla,the pedestrian walkway.

We visited most of the jewelry stores on Tim’s list…and nothing…oh well .
We were close to our favorite neighborhood so we headed over to Sant Pere Street. This neighborhood houses a lovely boutique hotel Yurbban Trafalga. We’ve stayed there several times, the restaurant is lovely, and the rooftop pool and bar have amazing views encompassing the Mediterranean Sea in one direction and La Sagrada Familia in another. We highly recommend it and plan to return next August.

During summer the plaza, with Sant Pere church as it’s focus is full of local folks. We spent many lazy afternoons here over several different vacations.
La Candela is our favorite tapas place in Barcelona. It doesn’t look like much…just trust me…the best…only local folks❤️
Back on the ship, we enjoyed lunch in Marketplace.
While Timmy napped, I read on the pool deck, enjoying my favorite Lush Champagne.
As as we sat down to dinner in Prego, I caught my bracelet on the railing…here’s Timmy trying to mend it. So now I have two favorite pieces in need of repair 😞.
