This photo was taken last evening, when we returned to our room at 12:31 am…so it technically belongs here on August 12 ♥️
We were greeted with cloudy skies and a cool wind when we opened the curtains. We were still enroute to Helsinki…expecting to arrive at noon. We had coffee and muffins…then I climbed the steps to the gym… and got my steps in as we approached the port.
We might’ve skipped lunch…because I have no pics…nor did I take photos at the Spa, where I spent 2 hours getting a manicure and pedicure. We stayed on board…too cold, windy and drizzle..y
Failed to close the curtains…whatever
Timmy had his consume …I had a butternut squash soup.

We finished out the evening with Neal…heading back to our room around 12:30 am
We were no sooner in the room, when Timmy received a text from Carlos…telling us to go out on deck…starboard side…and to wear a jacket…so I pulled on a sweatshirt, grabbed my wrap and we went out the aft door on deck 10…then climbed to deck 12…and then magic
We’ve had some amazing experiences over the years…but seeing the Aurora Borealis for the very first time was beyond magical…
I almost couldn’t believe it…purple and green…then green and purple…
The experience changed as the ship moved through the sea
So an ordinary day, with a magical ending ♥️♥️♥️ Thanks for following along ♥️
